The Geoffrey Whitworth is a public theatre with over 1700 members, founded in 1948.
We produce ten or eleven productions annually, each usually lasting for 8 nights, including a Youth Group Production.

"to undertake the production of acknowledged classics of all countries and ages and outstanding modern plays”
To this end, the Drama Committee undertakes to create a balanced season that will excite our audience and our active membership year after year.
