Let the Right One In
Let the Right One In

a stage production by Jack Thorne based on the Swedish novel and film by John Ajvide Lindquist By arrangement with Marla Rubin Productions Ltd
Directed by Jennifer Sims

7th to 14th March 2020

This is a challenging and fascinating piece of theatre based on a Swedish novel and film. Part violent vampire horror, part tender coming-of-age love story, it is an exceptional examination of loneliness, gender and sexuality, family, and more.

Oskar is a lonely bullied teenage boy living on a housing estate. Eli is new to town. She doesn’t go to school and only leaves her flat at night. The two become devoted friends but what Oskar doesn’t know is that Eli has been a teenager for a very long time... then a spate of sinister killings rocks the neighbourhood.

Recommended for adults and fearless teens aged 13+, this production contains some strong language and violence.

“I’m nothing. Not a child. Not old. Not a boy. Not a girl. Nothing. I’m just me.”
